DRIIV (Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation), the umbrella body of the Delhi Science & Technology (S&T) Cluster is a flagship initiative of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) of the Government of India on the recommendation of PMSTIAC, designed to transform India’s innovation ecosystem by enabling seamless translation of research into real-world impact. Anchored within the national S&T Cluster framework under the OPSA to the Government of India, DRIIV is built to bridge the critical gap between lab-scale innovation and large-scale deployment.

DRIIV brings together academia, industry, startups, and government into a unified platform that accelerates the journey of sustainable solutions from concept to commercialization. Strategically housed at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, DRIIV strengthens the pursuit of excellence in research and innovation by enabling the translation of cutting-edge discoveries into real-world impact.

The vision of DRIIV is to create an integrated ecosystem that transforms cutting-edge research into scalable, market-ready solutions, ensuring that innovation translates into tangible, on-ground impact. As an Science & Technology Cluster platform, DRIIV addresses the critical “valley of death” between prototype development and commercialization by enabling validation, pilot testing, and industry adoption. Working closely with researchers and startups, the cluster supports real-world validation, scale-up pathways, and alignment with industry demand, ensuring that promising technologies move beyond laboratories into deployment.
