Prof. Ambuj D. Sagar

Acting CEO, DRIIVDeputy Director (Strategy & Planning), IIT Delhi

Prof. Ambuj Sagar has assumed charge as the Acting CEO of DRIIV. He is currently the Deputy Director (Strategy & Planning) at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is also the Vipula and Mahesh Chaturvedi Professor of Policy Studies and the Founding Head of the School of Public Policy at IIT Delhi. His work lies at the intersection of science, technology, innovation, and sustainable development. Prof. Sagar holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi, an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, and three advanced degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT): an M.S. in Materials Science, a Ph.D. in Polymer Science, and an M.S. in Technology and Policy. He has contributed extensively to energy innovation policy (including biofuels, coal power, clean cookstoves, and electric vehicles), climate change policy and governance, and institutional frameworks to promote inclusive and sustainable development. Prof. Sagar has advised multiple Indian government departments as well as international agencies. He was a Lead Author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group III Sixth Assessment Report and a member of the Independent Group of Scientists appointed by the UN Secretary-General to prepare the 2023 Global Sustainable Development Report. He also serves on the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.Before joining IIT Delhi, he was a Senior Research Associate at the Harvard Kennedy School and Assistant Dean for Strategic Planning at the Harvard Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. At DRIIV, Prof. Sagar brings a strong strategic vision and multidisciplinary expertise to accelerate innovation-driven collaborations between academia, industry, and government for solving critical national challenges.

Amrita Dawn

Chief Innovation Officer

Amrita holds a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from IIT Delhi & an M.S. in Biomedical Chemistry from Thomas Jefferson University, USA. Her comprehensive experience (15+) spans technical research, project administration, & fostering peer-to-peer scientific relationships. Previously as the Head, Technology Liaison for DRIIV, she adeptly managed cross-sector collaborations, technical documentation & stakeholder engagement.

MVSV Sai

Head, Business Operations

A Post Graduate in Public Administration, he had worked nearly for a period of 10 years in corporate and other sectors and 30 years in a central university. Had a rich experience in Accounting, Auditing, Administration, Admissions and Examination. He is also a member of Examination Advisory Committee of a State School Board. Prior to his joining in DRIIV Foundation, he had worked as a Consultant (Academics) for a brief period in a deemed central university.

Ataur Rahman

IT Manager

Mr. Ataur, an MCA graduate with over 15 years of experience, has joined DRIIV as the IT Manager. His career spans notable contributions to major digital projects at organizations such as MBRSL & The ToI, where he demonstrated exceptional expertise in managing innovative digital initiatives including holding pivotal roles in both domestic & MNCs. At DRIIV, he is instrumental in shaping a compelling digital & print presence, driving user engagement.

Arvind Iyer

Program Manager

An aspiring changemaker with 4+ years of pivotal experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, M&E, CSR and ESG. He holds a Bachelor's in Social Sciences and a Master's in Social Work (Rural Development) from the prestigious TISS. Arvind has previously worked with Blue Planet as Asst. Program Manager, Leonard Cheshire Disability UK as Consultant, and The Goat Trust as Program Manager (Trainee).

Garima Joshi

Accounts Associate

Ms Garima Joshi, a dedicated and enthusiastic individual, has a bachelor's degree in commerce from the Indira Gandhi National Open University(2021). She has a finance and Banking diploma and six months of exposure in a CA firm with expertise in Accounting, Annual Filing, and Taxation. Currently, She is Pursuing a Professional course named CMA.

Harsh Gupta

Intern

Harsh, an alumnus of Delhi University, is a dynamic professional with a broad skill set and a commitment to continuous growth. Through his past work experiences, he has developed strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Now serving as a Intern at DRIIV, he contributes his expertise in technical support, further enhanced by foundational skills in graphic design.

Ujjwal Kocher

Junior Assistant

Pursing Graduation (BA). Ujjwal is assisting in administrative matters like arranging booking for meeting venues, conferences venues, transport and accommodation for visiting experts, maintaining the imp-rest (cash) follow up with banks etc. He is also involved in assisting upkeepment of official documents as and when required.

Raj Kumar

Project Attendent

Rajkumar is responsible for maintaining general cleanliness of office and pantry area. He also monitors and manages inventory levels of pantry/stationary supplies. He attends the staffs and visitors by serving beverages and snacks as and when required.
